3D Printing Meals – Are Investors Willing To Fund Personalized Food?

In the mood for Pizza? Why have it delivered when you can print it in 30 minutes or less? What if instead of rolling out the dough and adding the pepperoni, the pizza was made with a 3D printer? A company from Spain, Natural Machines, is looking to raise capital to make the process of cooking just a little more high tech. Originally the company was interested in just 3D printing sugar based sweets, such as chocolate and candy, but it since moved on to bigger food items, including common household meals like pizza. The 3D food printer is called “Foodini” and the best things to print are foods that start out as being malleable – like pizza, pasta, sauces, and soft veggies.
